6.3.3 Change slewing gear gear oil

1. Lower attached loads and the boom to the ground.
Park the machine in horizontal position.

3. Shut down drive engine and safeguard against restart.
1 Slewing gear
2 Gear bleeder
3 Oil drain with cap nut
4 Connection piece with hose
Open the front right service door.

5. Unscrew oil expansion tank (5) cover.
Unscrew cover nut (3).
6.
7. Screw in connection piece with hose (4) until the waste oil
drains through the hose. Collect used oil in a suitable con-
tainer.
Unscrew connection piece with hose (4).
8.
9. Screw cover nut (3) back on.
