LINEFEED
This command enables (LINEFEED=1) or disables
(LINEFEED=0) the sending of a linefeed character each time a
carriage return is sent. LINEFEED=0 is set when unit is switched
to OPERATE.

LINEFEED without an operand returns the current setting.

LOCAL
This command sets the unit to local mode. In local
mode, serial commands cannot affect the unit's operation; com-
mands can only obtain information. Local mode is set when the
unit is switched to OPERATE. See REMOTE on page 4-4.

NOTE=text or NOTE
are ignored by the unit. This allows annotating program files for
user reference. NOTE without a operand can provide spacing for
readability.

REMOTE
This command sets the unit to remote mode. The
unit must be put into remote mode before any commands are
sent that affect the unit. See also LOCAL on page 4-4.
Note
The touch screen on the unit is still operational in remote
mode. You can return the fraction collector to the Local mode
from the touch screen by touching the computer icon.
