OFTWARE
Software Release 3.0.5 is only available from the 3Com Web site. That is,
modules that ship from the 3Com factory will be pre-loaded with an
earlier release of software. If you want to upgrade modules to run
release 3.0.5 in your Switch 4007 system, then read this chapter to learn
about the prerequisites, as well as how to download the software from
the Web and how to install it.
After you upgrade your modules to release 3.0.5, save these instructions
in the event that you need to reinstall software for any reason; for
example, if it has become corrupted.
