Flywheel/Ignition Coil Removal/Installation - Honda WX15T Manual

FLYWHEEL/IGNITION COIL
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the following:
– Fan cover (page 8-2)
– Stop switch bracket (page 7-5)
– Carburetor (page 5-5)
– Control base (page 6-2)
• Route the engine wire harness and high-tension wire
• After installation, check the ignition coil air gap

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION:
Be sure that there is no washer
or other foreign material on the
magnets.
FAN COVER BOLT B(2)
8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.8 lbf·ft)
properly(page 2-6)

NUT (10 mm)
21.1 N·m (2.15 kgf·m, 15.5lbf·ft)

WOODRUFF KEY
INSTALLATION:
After installing the flywheel, check the key groove that
the key is set properly.
IGNITION SYSTEM
FAN COVER BOLT A
8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.8 lbf·ft)
BOLT (5 x 20 mm)
HIGH TENSION WIRE
INSTALLATION:
Check for tears and damage
causing current leakage
before connection.
STOP SWITCH WIRE
(With oil level switch and oil alert unit)
