WATER PUMP TROUBLESHOOTING
Won't prime

Priming water too low.
Mechanical seal damaged.
Inlet valve damaged.
Suction hose damaged.
Air leak.
Suction head too great.
Strainer clogged or damaged.
Throttle not in FAST position.
Impeller clearance excessive.
Impeller or volute case damaged.
Fill pump housing with water.

Replace .
Replace (page 9-3) .
Replace.
Check coupling for proper
gasket.
Tighten parts.
Move pump closer to water
source.
Clean out or replace.
Place throttle in FAST.
Replace worn or damaged
parts.
