REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the following:
– Fan cover
– Carburetor
GOVERNOR ARM
GOVERNOR ARM NUT
6.9 N·m (0.7 kgf·m, 5.1 lbf·ft)
GOVERNOR SPRING
INSTALLATION:
Install with the long
end side toward the
governor arm.
SELF-LOCKING NUT
(6 mm)
CONTROL LEVER
WASHER

THROTTLE RETURN SPRING
INSTALLATION:
Hook the ends through the
big holes in the governor arm
GOVERNOR ROD
and throttle.
Install the spring with the
short end in the carburetor.
