Troubleshooting

Problem

Possible cause
The Flow restrictor has
been removed after the
UV cell.
There is air in the system.
There is air in the pump
There is air in the pump.
The pressure is too high,
possibly due to running
the system at a flow rate
that is too high for the
column used.
There is a kink in the tub-
ing, overtightened tubing
connections, or precipita-
tion in the flow path.

Corrective action
Replace the Flow restrictor back in
the flow path after the Conductivity
monitor.
