Restart after emergency
shutdown or power failure
Follow the steps below to restart the system after an emergency shutdown or power
failure.

Action
Reconnect the power cord.
Start the instrument by pressing the On/Off button on the instrument control
panel.
Start the computer and the UNICORN software.
Re-establish connection between UNICORN and the instrument.
If the run has been aborted, recover or discard remaining sample and flush
the flow path as appropriate.
