Pull handle flap (Fig. 36,1) and push or pull handle forward at the same
time.
Open window half up to the required position.
Close the window as far as possible and let the handle lock in place.

Hinged window with automatic hinges

Make sure that the hinged window is not in the "continuous ventilation"
position during the journey.
When opening the hinged window, ensure that there are no torsional
forces. Open and close the hinged windows evenly.
Open the hinged window completely before closing it to release the lock-
ing device.
If the catch lever is equipped with a safety knob, press the safety knob
when operating the catch lever.
If the hinged window above the seating group on the right side of vehicle
is open: Close the hinged window before opening the body door
(Fig. 37). Otherwise, the body door and the hinged window may collide
and be damaged.
