Installing the attachable
seat:

Additional attachable seats

 If the attachable seats are not installed, the divans may not be used
during the journey.
 Use the attachable seats during the journey only with seat belt.
 If one of the attachable seats has been removed: store and lash the
backrest of the attachable seat securely.

If the vehicle is equipped with a pull-down bed, remove the attachable
seats before lowering the pull-down bed.
Depending on the model and the level of equipment, an attachable seat can
be fitted to the divans (Lounge divan) on the left and on the right. The at-
tachable seats are installed in the same way on the right and left side.
The attachable seats point in the direction of travel, are equipped with a seat
belt and may be used during the journey.

Remove the seat cushion and the back cushion from the divan (Fig. 21).

Fold the support board (Fig. 22,1) by 180° and set it down on the bench
seat cover.

Swing the bench seat panel (Fig. 23,4) towards the side wall.

Route the safety belt with the seatbelt lock through the orifice (Fig. 23,3)
in the bench seat cover.

Insert the backrest of the attachable seat into the side holders
(Fig. 23,1) and tighten the star knob screw on the centre holder
(Fig. 23,2) by hand.
