Notes:
1) Print speeds listed above are when printing with 24 V, an ambient temperature of 25˚C,
and with default print density.
2) Print speeds automatically change according to conditions such as changes in the volt-
age, head temperature conditions, and printing patterns.
3) Print speeds can slow depending on data transfer speeds and printing patterns.
4) Also, printing speeds can vary depending on the memory switch settings.
5) If printing bar codes, the resolution of reading them is dependent upon the performance of
the scanner. Therefore, if adequate reading results cannot be attained, lower the printing
speed, or adjust the size (enlarge) the size of the minimum module.
6) For high speed mode, always use paper that is less than 150 mm in diameter and less than
79.5 mm wide.
Paper conveyance may not be possible because of excessive wear on the rubber rollers or
power swings if roll paper that has an external diameter larger than 150 mm, or that is less
than 79.5 mm in width.
Note that if high-speed mode is selected when the print region is less than 71 mm, the
print speed will automatically be set to 180 mm/s (standard mode).
7) Always use the recommended type of paper. Use the print speeds and print density de-
scribed in the product specifications manual.
To use settings that are not recommended or paper that is not recommended such as
paper that has been specially treated on the back or front sides, it is recommended to
adequately test the paper prior to use to ensure that there are no problems in its use.

8) If problems such as paper conveyance length being shorter than specified causing print-
ing to be bunched together when using your selected print speed, it is recommended to
slow the printing speed and confirm the print.
