(8) Presenter Module Weight Bar (Accessory) and Loop Guide Installation: See below.
To ensure paper conveyance of the presenter module, it is necessary to adjust the mounting of
the weight and loop guide for the thickness of the paper type you use. See the table below for the
optimum mechanism status.
Notes:
1.
This does not apply to models not installed with the presenter.
2.
Also, actually use the printer once you have thoroughly checked the layout and its
operation on print media.
3.
Paper conveyance problems can occur when appropriate settings are not used.
Paper Thicknesses: 65 µm to 110 µm
(1) Do not use the weight bar.
(2) The loop guide can become deformed if the environment of use is suddenly changed. The
space from the cutter can also change. (See Fig. 3.3.1.9) In such cases, remount the loop
guide as shown below.
Procedure (1) Loosen the screw on the left side of the position A. See Fig. 3.3.1.10.
Procedure (2) While pulling the loop guide in the direction of the arrow, loosen the screw on
the left of the position A so that there is no gap with the cutter.
Notes:
1.
Depending on the thickness of the paper, its length and the ambient environment, it might
be necessary to mount the weight bar to position (1) or position (2). See Fig. 3.3.1.11.
• Paper Thicknesses: 110 µm to 150 µm
(1) Mount the weight bar on the left and right side hooks at the position (1). See Fig. 3.3.1.11.
(2) Remove the two screws fastening the loop guide to remove the loop guide. See Fig. 3.3.1.10.
Notes:
1.
Depending on the thickness of the paper, its length and the ambient environment, it might
be appropriate to mount at position (2). See Fig. 3.3.1.11.
2.
The loop guide will not be used, but keep it where you will not lose it.
