NOTICE
Blade tips must be equal from side-to-side. This
will place the mower deck in a standard
measurement position. Depending on the type
of grass being mowed or environmental
conditions, more adjustments can be necessary
to get the desired cut.
6. If distance from the floor to the bottom of the blade
varies from side-to-side, turn the deck adjustment
linkage nuts (2) clockwise to raise the deck and
counterclockwise to lower the deck. In the lowest
cutting position, the blade height should not be below
1-1/2 in (4 cm).
7. Verify measurements after adjustment.

Front-to-Back (rake) Adjustment

1. Park and prepare machine for service. See "Prepare
Equipment for Service" on page 1-13.
2. Inspect blades to ensure blades are not bent or
damaged. Replace as necessary. See "Remove and
Install Mower Blades" on page 5-3.
CAUTION
!
Mower blades may be sharp. Wear proper
personal protective equipment (PPE) when
moving mower blades. Failure to wear proper
PPE while rotating blade may result in serious
injury.
3. Rotate blades so that they align front-to-back with the
