Remove and Install Front Vertical
Caster Bearings

Removal

1. Park and prepare machine for service. See "Prepare
Equipment for Service" on page 1-13.
2. Raise platform and support with appropriate device.

3. Remove cap (1).

4. Remove fastener (2).

5. Remove components as shown.
6. Clean and inspect components. Repair or replace as
necessary.
7. Repeat steps 3–6 for other caster bearing.

Installation

Installation is done in reverse order of removal.
Tighten fastener (2) to specification.

Fastener (2) Torque
• Grease caster bearing. See "Lubricate Caster
Bearings" on page 3-5.
