Cranking Circuit Operation

The starter motor will crank the engine only when the
power take-off (PTO) switch is off, the left and right
motion control levers are in the neutral position or the
park brake is set, and the key switch is in the START
position.

When the key switch is in the START position, signal is
sent to the PTO switch terminal 6. With the PTO switch
off, signal is sent from terminal 12 to the starter relay. The
starter relay sends power to the starter motor at the
engine connector terminal 6.
