Charging Circuit Operation

The charging system regulates the battery voltage when
the engine is running. When the engine is running and
the key switch is in the RUN position, the voltage
regulator coverts the stator output voltage from AC to DC
voltage. The voltage regulator uses the DC voltage to
maintain the battery charge.
