Diagnose Run Circuit

NOTE: For circuit information, see "Run Circuit
Operation" on page 6-38 or see "Main Schematic"
on page 6-2.
Diagnostic Checks
• Inspect electrical
connectors and
harness wires for
loose or damaged
connections.
Are all electrical
connectors and wiring
in working condition?
• Check that the battery
is fully charged.
• Inspect battery cables
for loose or corroded
connections.
Is battery fully charged
and are cables properly
secured to battery
terminals?
• Check power circuit.
See "Diagnose Power
Circuit" on page 6-28.
Is power circuit
functioning properly?
• Disconnect electrical
connector to right
motion control lever
harness.
• Turn key switch to the
START position to
start engine.
• Check voltage at
terminal 1 (blue wire)
of the right motion
control lever
connector.
Is voltage shown at the
right motion control
lever?
Results
YES: Go to next check.
NO: Repair or replace
electrical
connectors and
wiring harnesses
as necessary.
YES: Go to next check.
NO: Charge battery.
Replace battery as
necessary.
NO: Repair or replace
battery cables as
necessary.
YES: Go to next check.
NO: Repair circuit as
necessary.
YES: Go to next check.
NO: Test motion
control lever relay.
See "Relay Test"
on page 6-20.
Replace relay as
necessary.
NO: Repair circuit as
necessary.
Diagnostic Checks
• Disconnect electrical
connector to left
motion control lever
harness.
• Turn key switch to the
START position to
start engine.
• Check voltage at
terminal 1 (blue wire)
of the left motion
control lever
connector.
Is voltage shown at the
left motion control
lever?
• Disconnect electrical
connector to engine
harness.
• Press firmly on the
seat to engage seat
switch.
• Turn key switch to the
RUN position.
• Check battery voltage
at terminal 2 (white
wire) of the engine
connector.
Is battery voltage
shown at engine
connector?

Results
YES: Go to next check.
NO: Test motion
control lever relay.
See "Relay Test"
on page 6-20.
Replace relay as
necessary.
NO: Repair circuit as
necessary.
YES: Checks complete.
NO: Repair circuit as
necessary.
