Park Equipment Safely
WARNING
!
Before cleaning, adjusting, or repairing this
machine, disengage all drives and stop engine
to prevent injuries.
1. Park the machine on a solid, level surface.
2. Disengage any attachments on the machine and
lower to the ground.

3. Disengage power take-off (PTO) clutch by moving
the PTO clutch switch (1) to the OFF (down) position.
4. Move throttle lever (2) to slow idle (turtle) position.

5. Place control levers in the park brake position (4).
6. Move key (3) to the OFF position.
7. Remove key from ignition switch.

WARNING

Always check the lifting capacity and condition
of lifting devices before use. Using underrated
or worn lifting devices could result in death or
serious injury.
• Always use a lifting device with a lifting capacity
greater than the weight of the item being lifted.
• When using a lifting device, always connect the load
so it is balanced.
• Always use a lifting device on a hard, level surface.
• Lower the lifting device to the lowest point before
moving. Move the load slowly.
• Always support the load as soon as possible. Never
leave a load suspended in mid-air.
• When lifting manually, follow all proper procedures to
prevent physical injury.
Support Equipment Securely
WARNING
!
Do not support machine with wood or concrete
blocks. Failure to properly support the machine
could result in death or serious injury.
Support the machine using properly rated jack stands.
Never work under a machine while supported by one jack
stand.
