5.3 Expendable Parts

Check the following items periodically (about every 6 months), Also, check the same if
ambient conditions have changed.
5.3.1

Replacing battery modules

The lithium battery in the battery module mounted on a CPU module terminal block is an
expendable part, and requires replacement.
Replace batteries as follows:
(1) Remove the battery case from the terminal block.
(2) Unfasten the four hooks, two each on the right and left sides of the battery case, and
open the case.
(3) Take out the old battery and insert a new battery (confirm the polarities).
