Step 3 Connect the other end of the power cable to the DC PDU in the cabinet.
The DC PDU is fastened horizontally in the rear of the cabinet. Connect the power cable to
the socket on the PDU according to the plan.
Step 4 Bundle the power cables to the cable guide using cable ties.

Before checking cable connections, ensure that the power is cut off. Otherwise, any incorrect
connection or loose connection may cause human injury or device damage.

7.3 Power-On and Power-Off

7.3.1 Power-On Procedure

l Before powering on a server, ensure that the PSUs are switched off, all cables are

l In AC or HVDC environment, the power cables of AC
PSUs are grounded. Ensure that the power cables are in
good contact.
l In DC environment, the ground terminals of DC PSUs are
grounded. Ensure that the ground cables are in good
contact.
