The objective of dynamic optimisation is to optimally adapt the positioning of
the prosthetic foot to the gait patterns of the patient. The following adjust­
ment possibilities are used here:
Posterior or anterior placement of the prosthetic foot in the a – p direc­
tion
Shifting the Prosthetic Foot in the Test Adapter
Adjustment possibility of
the prosthetic foot
Posterior placement of the
prosthetic foot
Anterior placement of the
prosthetic foot
Shifting the prosthetic foot
in the test adapter in the
proximal direction
Shifting the prosthetic foot

1) In the 647H543 Quick Reference Guide, note the section "Dynamic
Optimisation" (see page 16).
2) CAUTION! See the instructions for use of the prosthetic compon­
ents for the mounting torque values.
Use the distal and proximal set screws on the socket adapter for posteri­
or or anterior placement of the prosthetic foot.
3) To shift the prosthetic foot in the test adapter, see the section "Shifting
the Prosthetic Foot" (see Page 29).
5.5 Finishing the Prosthesis

Torque wrench
1) Tighten all screws of the prosthetic components to the specified installa­
tion torque values.
2) Verify proper functioning of the prosthesis.
