5) Saw through the prosthetic foot at the marking (see fig. 12) and deburr
the cut edge.
6) Drill the hole (Ø 10 mm) and deburr it (see fig. 13).
7) Remove the socket adapter from the test adapter and install it on the
definitive adapter (section "Installing the Socket Adapter on the Foot
Adapter" – see Page 25).
8) For definitive mounting, clean the screw connection area using a
degreasing cleaner.
9) Turn out the set screws of the definitive adapter so that they do not pro­
trude into the insertion space.
10) Set the angle plate onto the prosthetic foot and slide the prosthetic foot
into the clamping space of the definitive adapter up to the stop (see
fig. 14).
11) Face the bevel on the washer toward the screw head and slide the
washer onto the hexagon head screw.
12) Secure the screw connections with Loctite.
13) Slide the hexagon head screw through the prosthetic foot into the definit­
ive adapter and tighten it (see fig. 15) (mounting torque: 30 Nm).
14) Tighten the 2 posterior set screws (see fig. 16) (mounting torque: 4 Nm).
15) Tighten the 2 proximal set screws (mounting torque: 4 Nm).
5.2.4 Information on Positioning and Gluing the Test Socket to the
Lamination Anchor

Required materials:
Adhesive putty (e.g. 639A1=1 + 617H21* + 617P37*), 699G30=7.5*
Cellacast Xtra Rigid Bandages
1) During positioning, ensure that the arms of the lamination anchor contact
the test socket.
2) If required, install the double adapter between the lamination anchor and
socket adapter to comply with the positioning instructions and values.
3) INFORMATION: Use a cloth to protect the test adapter and pros­
thetic foot against contamination by the adhesive putty (see
647H543 – section "Gluing the Lamination Anchor to the Socket" on
page 8).
Once the correct position has been established, glue the test socket to
the lamination anchor with adhesive putty.
Cover the arms of the lamination anchor entirely with the adhesive putty.
Allow the adhesive putty to set.
4) Secure the arms of the lamination anchor by wrapping them with rigid
bandages (at least 2 layers).
