NOTE
Test jumpers should be the same type and core size as the
fiber to be tested. For multimode fiber testing, test jumpers
should be either 50/125-µm or 62.5/125-µm multimode
cables. Test jumpers should be periodically checked to
ensure that they have not become worn through and are
not adding excessive loss. Always clean the connector
ferrules before making connections.
