FIBER METER
To activate LinkTalk:
1. Set the rotary dial on the Remote Unit to
REMOTE.
2. Attach the earphones to the jack on the lower
right side of both the Main Unit and Remote Unit.
3. Set the rotary dial on the Main Unit to
EXTENDED FUNCTIONS.
4. Press the up- and down-arrow keys to highlight
LinkTalk.
5. Press the ENTER button. When the Remote Unit
enters Talk mode, an alert bell will ring at that
Remote Unit.
6. Press the F3 button to stop the bell (see Figure
6-1).
