5.2.1 OFSTP-14A M
Method B is the recommended method for testing
multimode cable under TIA/EIA-568A and ISO/IEC
11801. This method is appropriate when measuring a
cable plant with patch panels on both ends, or with a
patch panel on one end and a wall outlet on the other.

To set the Method B reference:
1. Attach the test jumpers to connect the Main Unit
and Remote Unit as shown in Figure 5-1.
2. Turn the rotary dial on the Main Unit to CAL.
