d) Meanings of the LEDs on the Speed Controller
The LEDs on the speed controller have the following meaning during driving of the vehicle:
• LEDs off
Neutral position, the engine is not running.
• Red LED lit
Driving forwards and/or reversing and/or braking of the vehicle
• Red and green LED lights up
1. Function: Full throttle position for driving forwards
If the vehicle is driving forwards (full throttle) and the green LED does not light up, then re-programme the
full throttle and neutral position of the speed controller, see chapter 10. a). Also check the reverse position
on the transmitter for the driving function and see chapter 8. i).
2. Function: Vehicle is stationary and brake is activated (throttle/braking level on the transmitter pushed away from
the handle and in the end position, see Chapter 8 i.).
• Red LED flashes
Programming mode for full throttle and neutral position has been activated (see chapter 10. a).
• Red LED lights up and green LED flashes quickly
Protective circuit has been activated (e.g. switched too quickly from reverse to forwards -> drive further backwards
again and then wait a few seconds) and/or overheating (allow the controller to cool down)
