• Function #4, green LED flashes 4x short: Start mode when driving off
Depending on this setting, the start is performed more or less powerful. Note that the two settings "fast" and "very
fast" require a high-quality rechargeable battery capable of providing the appropriate current during take off.
• Function #5, green LED flashes 1x long: Maximum braking strength
The speed controller unit provides proportional braking strength depending on the setting of the throttle/brake lever
on the transmitter. The maximum braking power at full lever extension can be adjusted to 25%, 50%, 75% and
100%; see table.
A high setting (e.g. 100%) decreases braking distance but has a negative effect on the lifetime of the gears (drive
pinion gear, main gear and differential gears).
• Function #6: green LED, one long and one short flash: Max. reverse speed
The maximum speed for reversing can be programmed with this function. Settable values are 25%, 50%, 75% und
100%. We recommend setting the reverse speed to 50% so that the vehicle can be controlled better in reverse
driving.
If reverse driving has been switched off (see "Function #1"), this setting has no effect.
• Function #7: green LED, 1 long and 2 short flashes: Minimum braking strength
This is where you can set the braking strength when the braking process begins (depending on the setting of the
transmitter throttle/braking lever).
The preset is the same braking strength as the motor-brake function (see "Function #2"), but values of 20% and 40%
can also be programmed so that the vehicle slows/stops more quickly.
• Function #8, green LED flashes 1x long, 3x short: Neutral range (for neutral setting on transmitter)
This function can set the range or area "D" (see picture right) that is
recognised as the neutral position by the transmitter. For the "D" area, the
values of 6%, 9% and 12% of the lever travel can be set.
The figure of the transmitter on the right serves only for illustration of the
lever position and does not necessarily correspond to the design of the
transmitter provided.
A = Mechanic centre position of the throttle/brake lever (neutral position)
B = Full throttle forwards
C = Full throttle reverse
D = Neutral range
E = Forwards range
F = Reverse range
