b) Commissioning
The manual for the remote control system is included separately. Always observe all safety notes included
in it as well as any additional information!
• Only use suitable driving batteries for the vehicle. Never operate the speed controller with a power unit, not even for
test purposes.
This vehicle is exclusively suitable for use with NiMH rechargeable batteries with 6 cells (nominal voltage
7.2V) or LiPo rechargeable batteries with 2 cells (nominal voltage 7.4V).
When using a drive battery with more cells, there is a danger of fire from overheating of the speed controller.
Apart from this, the vehicle's drive will be overloaded and damaged by this (e.g. differential). Loss of
guarantee/warranty!
• When putting the device into operation, always turn on the transmitter first. Only then can the driving battery of the
car be connected with the speed controller and the speed controller be switched on. Otherwise, the vehicle might
show unpredictable responses!
Place the vehicle on an appropriate surface before connecting the driving battery, so that the wheels can
turn freely.
Check the position of the on/off switch of the speed controller and place it in the "OFF" position (switched
off).
Switch on the transmitter if you haven't done it already. Check its function (e.g. operation display of the
transmitter).
Put the trimming for the throttle/brake function into the centre position.
Now connect a fully charged driving battery to the speed controller. As said above, only a NiMH drive
battery with 6 cells (drive battery nominal voltage 7.2V) or LiPo drive batteries with 2 cells (drive battery
nominal voltage 7.4V) must be used.
Hold the vehicle, but do not reach into the drive unit. There is a risk of serious injury! Never hold the vehicle
by its wheels!
Only then switch on the speed controller (switch position e.g. labelled "ON").
• Check that the vehicle reacts to remote control commands as expected (steering and drive) before taking it from the
support and placing it on the ground with its wheels.

c) Driving the Vehicle

• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Only drive as long as you have sight contact
to the model. This is why you shouldn't drive at night.
• Only drive when your ability to react is unimpaired. Tiredness or the influence of alcohol or medication can cause
incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Please note that this model car must not be driven on public roads, places or streets. Also do not operate it on private
grounds without the owner's permission.
• Don't drive towards people or animals!
