• Put the on/off switch of the speed controller (A) into
the position "OFF".
• Then the receiver power supply must be switched
off; put the switch (B) into the position "OFF" as well.
f) Inserting the Drive Battery into the Vehicle
Remove the hook-and-loop tapes of the battery holder. Insert the drive battery into the battery holders. Tighten the
hook-and-loop tapes to secure the battery in the battery holder.

g) Connecting the Drive Battery to the Speed Controller

Always switch off the receiver power supply and the speed controller, see chapter 8. e).
To prevent a sudden starting of the wheels and therefore an uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the
trimming for the drive is maladjusted or neutral position is not programmed correctly, see chapter 10. a),
place the model vehicle on a suitable surface (or starting box), so that the wheels can turn freely. Do not
reach into the drive. Do not hold the wheels! Risk of injury!
A 6-cell LiPo battery (rated voltage 22.2 V) is required for operation of the vehicle or speed controller.
When another drive battery or a drive battery with more cells is used, not only the speed controller or the
motor may be damaged, but cogwheels, joints and drive axles will also be overloaded. The guarantee/
warranty will be void!
Connect the drive battery to the speed controller connection plug. Ensure correct polarity (red cable = plus/+,
black cable = minus/-).
