Example Programs

Example programs are provided with the ADSP-2191 EZ-KIT Lite to

demonstrate various capabilities of the evaluation board. These programs

are installed with the EZ-KIT Lite software and can be found in:

\...\VisualDSP\219x\EZ-KITs\ADSP-2191\Examples

Please refer to the readme file provided with each example for more

information.

The ADSP-2191 EZ-KIT Lite evaluation system includes a Flash Pro-

grammer utility. The utility allows you to program the Flash memory on

the EZ-KIT Lite. The Flash Programmer is installed with VisualDSP++.

Once the utility is installed, it is accessible from the Tools pull-down

menu.

For more information on the Flash Programmer utility, select Start and

choose Programs-->VisualDSP-->VisualDSP++ Documentation.

Under some conditions, breakpoints cannot effectively be placed.

Generally, the emulator or EZ-KIT Lite development system restricts

breakpoint placement when certain conditions are met. These conditions

depend on things such as bus architecture, pipeline depth, and ordering.

Software breakpoints within a delayed slot, such as within two instruc-

tions of a delayed branch, are restricted.
