8. Utilities

Four utility programs are available from the "Utility Installation" button in the
Setup program. The utilities are as follows:

Adapter Information for Windows - AIW
•
Desktop Management Interface - DMI
•
Novell SNMP Installation
•
The Setup Program (Olicom Adapter Setup Program)

Adapter Information for Windows

The Adapter Information for Windows (AIW) program displays information about
the adapter and the adapter driver. By nature the AIW program is only available
from Windows. The following information is available via AIW:
•
Adapter type, serial number and configuration data
•
Driver name, type, version and configuration data
•
Driver statistics in numeric form
•
System files
•
Network traffic information in graphical form
•
How to contact Olicom Support and Sales Offices
•
Other Olicom products
•
If needed, configuration data can be saved to a file or printed

An Olicom DMI enabled driver:
– OCE3XODI.COM (DOS ODI driver)
– OCE3XND2.DOS (NDIS 2.0 DOS driver)
