8.2.3 Removing the carbon brushes

Steps that must be completed:
- Removing the connecting cable
Tool(s):
- Assembly aid
- Long-nosed pliers

Lift up the spring (1).
Remove the carbon brush (2).
Pull off the plug (3).
Remove the carbon brush holder (4).
Disconnect the cable (5).
Repeat steps 1 to 5 on the opposite side of the machine.
