The measured resistance values are converted and output as temperature values
for evaluation of the NTC 20 kOhm resistance sensors. All temperature values are
represented in a standard numerical format. The possible numeric range
corresponds to the defined temperature range for the sensors of
−30 °C ... +130 °C.
At the NTC 20 kOhm setting, the sensor temperature values are displayed at a
resolution of 1 digit per 0.1 °C in one word (16 bits). As a result, 0 °C
corresponds to the numeric value 0x0000 and 100 °C to 0x03E8 (dec. 1000).
Temperatures below 0 °C are represented in two's complement binary.
