Teldat S.A.
The devices with software version 10.08.29 and above have the option to convert the console serial port into a DCE
asynchronous serial port in all models. This port has the following limitations:
(1) Its speed is limited to 38400 bps.
(2) It doesn't have control signals complying with the RS-232 norm.
Models 003, 013, 103 and 113 are equipped with an internal USB card with 2 RS-232 asynchronous serial ports. The
maximum speed configured in these ports is 115200 bps and hardware flow control is permitted.
Models 001, 011, 021, 101 and 111 do not have an internal serial ports card and the DB-9 connectors are closed.
Models 001, 003, 011, 013 and 021 do not have an ADSL interface and the DSL connector is closed.
By default, the device incorporates a transparent protector that prevents the connectors from being touched while the
device is running.

2.1.2 Monitoring hardware

The only way to monitor the Regesta-PRO-ER router family hardware is through the LEDs on the front panel. The
LEDs provide visual information on what is happening in the router. These indicate the status of the hardware com-
ponents, if there is connection or not, data flow, etc.
