Leak warning information

The leak warning indicates that the desired vacuum cannot be achieved or maintained. The vacu
um pump continues running. The leak warning is output under the following conditions:
The vacuum pump operates continuously for more than 3 minutes
Less than 2 minutes elapse between several pump intervals
The leak warning deactivates itself automatically when there is no problem for 10 minutes. It can
also be deactivated by briefly activating the vacuum pump standby mode.

6.3 Flushing the Vacuum Pump

A reduced vacuum indicates contamination. In case of contamination, the system has to be
flushed to clean it. This flushes the vacuum pump and the filter in the adapter plate. The reverse
mode of the vacuum pump is used for flushing. The flushing process can also help if the system is
plugged.
CAUTION
Improper cleaning
Skin irritation, formation of eczema or infections due to contamination with germs
Clean the product regularly.
