Lamp Test
Procedure
The "LAMP TEST" push-button on the operator interface is used for identifying local lamp
(LED) failures within the system. LEDs on the 4100ES operator interface and Switch/LED
Display Modules illuminate.
Perform the following procedure to check correct LED or LCD operation:
1. Press the "LAMP TEST" push-button. All LEDs should illuminate (LEDs should stay
illuminated for as long as the push-button is depressed). Holding the push-button in for
more than 3 seconds will test the buzzer.
2. Perform an individual lamp test on all remote LCD annunciators using the key switch on
the remote annunciator.
3. If you find defective lamps/LEDs, contact your local Simplex agent.
