Programmable alarm organization

6.2.1 Purpose and principle
To prevent the unnecessary turnout of the fire department for minor incidents (CAC: Special Alarmconcept)
It involves personnel in the alarming sequence and relies on the operating states:
mode 'manned'
mode 'unmanned'
ý Switching from mode 'manned' to 'unmanned'
In the evening (if system was set to 'manned')
Manually
by pressing key 'premises manned' at the panel
Automatic
at the preset time for autom. switching
or after the preset number of hours has expired
Mode 'manned'
The response of the operating personnel is monitored by 2 independent time circuits:
− V1 (10....300sec)
− V2 (60....600sec)
Action to be taken during 'investigation'
− 'Emergency'
− 'Minor incident'
ý Switching from mode 'unmanned' to 'manned'
In the morning (during working days)
Manually
by pressing key 'premises manned' at the panel
Automatic
only possible if 'full automatic switching' is programmed, for that purpose define:
− time of switching to mode 'manned'
− option
AUTOMATIC to 'manned':

− time of switching to 'unmanned'
Note:
The fully automatic switching must first be initialized via menu after exit from the programming mode.
Mode 'unmanned'
All alarm messages immediately generate a 'remote alarm'

é LED 'premises manned' is turned on
é time to acknowledge the alarm message at the panel
é time to investigate and to decide emergency or minor incident
é activate nearest manual call point to call immediately the fire brigade
(generates always immediately a 'remote alarm')
é reset system before fire brigade is called (before 'V2' has expired)
(earliest possible time programmable)
