Allows a quick installation check in order to find out how many devices have been
installed within the line (without any programming at control panel).
Principle
The system reads all devices 'as found' and allocates each device to a separate ELE-
MENT and ZONE. After the 'reading in' is completed the display at the control panel
shows the number of devices 'seen' per line.

Procedure
9. Power up system or press the button 'reset' on the main board
10. Select option '2.' after system shows the following dialog text:
(if no input follows within 1min system initiates option '1.')

11. Wait until configuration is read and number of 'seen' devices is indicated
(overwrites all user functions under '4.4.1.4')

12. Check readout
Does the indicated number correspond with the effective installed number?
If yes:
System is ready for configuration and also able to report alarms but without user text.
If no:
Check and correct detector network. Then initiate option '2.' again (repeat until the
indicated number corresponds with the effective number of installed devices)
The detectors and call points and input/output modules are grouped in ZONES. The zon-
ing must be done according to the geographical aspects (number and size of rooms) and
