3-8 DISC GANG DEPTH GAUGE ASSEMBLY

3-8.1 Connect depth gauge mount to disc
gang bar using 5/8-11 x 6-11/16 x 7-1/2
u-bolt and hex lock nuts (See Figure 3-12).
Leave hardware loose.
Note: See Figures 2-1 - 2-2 for depth gauge
mount placement.
3-8.2 Attach depth indicator gauge to the
depth gauge mount using 1/2-13 x 5-1/2 hex
head cap screw and hex lock nut.
3-8.3 Slide depth gauge indicator through slot
in depth gauge guide.
3-8.4 Connect depth gauge guide to the
frame assembly using 5/8-11 x 6-11/16 x
5-1/2 u-bolt and hex lock nuts.
3-8.5 Attach depth gauge decal to the top of
the depth indicator gauge.
Note: Slight adjustments may be needed in
placement to ensure that indicator does not
bind up in both gang angle settings.
3-8.6 Tighten all hardware to the recom-
mended torques shown in Table 2-1, "Stan-
dard Bolt Torques".
