NOTE: If the Hub Power LEDs do not light after the BayStack 281xx switch is
connected to the RPSU, check that the power switch located on the rear of the
BayStack 281xx switch has been turned on. If the power has been turned on
and the LEDs still do not light, the internal power supply of the switch has
failed and should be replaced.
If the Redundant Power LEDs and the Pwr Input A and B LEDs on the Model
RPSU power supply do not light when both RPSU power switches are turned
on, the RPSU has failed and should be replaced. If the FAN LED on the Model
RPSU Power Supply illuminates, the RPSU has failed and should be replaced.
Contact your local reseller for replacement information and instructions.
CAUTION: To connect another device to an operating RPSU that already has
a connection to a BayStack 281xx switch, turn off power to the RPSU and the
attached BayStack 281xx switch before making the new connection to the
power supply.
To power off the BayStack 281xx switch when connected to a Model RPSU
power supply, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off both power switches on the rear panel of the RPSU.
