Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws that attach the
faceplate (that covers the power supply DC connectors) to the rear
panel of the BayStack 281xx switch (see

Connect two DC power cables to two consecutive DC connectors on
the rear of the Model RPSU power supply.
For example, connect one DC cable to connector 1 on the power supply
and the other DC cable to connector 2 on the power supply. You can also
make connections to connectors 2 and 3, or 3 and 4. Do not, however,
connect the DC cables to power supply connectors out of consecutive
order, such as to connectors 1 and 3, or to connectors 2 and 4.

CAUTION: Both power cables must be connected to the redundant power
connector on the BayStack 281xx switch before powering on the Model
RPSU power supply.
