Adapting cable lengths, software update

6.1

Shortening or lengthening the motor/sensor connection cable

Extensions to be ordered (length 10m)
Art. # 80889 Probe
Art. # 80890 Motor
The maximum cable length of 30 m must not be exceeded.
If a connecting cable is shortened, the wires have to be applied as
shown:
Motor connector - grey: [grey (white), orange (brown), black]
Probe connector - white: Cable colours are identical to pin assigment
(blue, white, black)

6.2

Update and reading out data

General information
For the control unit to be able to be operated with a USB flash drive inserted, this USB flash drive including connector
must not be longer than 20 mm. Otherwise the housing will not be able to be closed. External data storage devices must
not be connected, the control unit would not work (max. 100 mA power supply). Before use, the USB flash drive must be
given a name via a Windows PC.
When a USB flash drive is connected to the control unit, it will be recognised automatically. An acoustic signal is heard
during connection and disconnection. Then the data transmission menu will appear with these selection options:
Read out data
Software update
Read in parameters
If menu 0 system information is displayed, the ESC key can be used to return to the data transmission menu described
above (with USB flash drive connected).
