Issue 03 (2020-01-10)
Symptom
Water spouts when it is
injected into the
humidifier cylinder for
the first time.
In the commissioning or
running period,
humidification is
enabled, but the
humidifier neither
humidifies nor generates
alarms.
The water inlet pipe or
drainpipe leaks.
Water is continuously
injected into the
humidifier cylinder.
The humidifier circuit
breaker trips
automatically.
The water level decreases
gradually, but the
humidifier cylinder does
not work and no manual
drainage is ongoing.
The humidifier cylinder
overflows.

6 System Operation and Maintenance
Possible Cause
Bubbles exist in the
water inlet pipe when
water is injected into the
humidifier for the first
time.
The mains fail, or in
diagnostic mode, the
output volume of the
humidifier is set to 0.
The water inlet pipe or
drainpipe is not secured
or is broken.
The water inlet solenoid
valve fails and cannot be
closed.
The actual current
exceeds the upper
threshold, which causes
the current transformer to
fail. The detected current
is incorrect.
The drainage valve leaks.
Poor water quality brings
severe water scale at the
bottom of the cylinder.
The drainpipe or drain
outlet is blocked, and the
high water level sensor is
Measures
During the initial
power-on
commissioning, gently
open the front valve.
In the commissioning or
running period, switch on
the humidifier circuit
breaker, enter the
diagnostic mode, and set
the output volume of the
humidifier to a value
greater than 0.
Repair leaking parts.
Start the humidifier
repeatedly in diagnostic
mode. If the problem
persists, replace the water
inlet solenoid valve.
In diagnostic mode, start
the humidifier and check
the humidifier current.
(The current cannot
exceed 10 A during
normal operation. When
the current exceeds 15 A,
a humidifier overcurrent
alarm will be generated.)
If the current is
reasonable, check the
current transformer and
its cable.
Start the drainage
solenoid valve repeatedly
in diagnostic mode. If the
problem persists, replace
the drainage valve.
Clean the drain outlet and
check the high water
level sensor cable is
properly connected.
