Horizontal mounting provides maximum legroom and protects the retractors from accidental
damage.
Vertical mounting is used if space or access makes horizontal mounting difficult.
To satisfy ADA compliance requirements for XL models, there is also an option to mount the
retractors at a 30° angle (see the Retractors User Guide, which is available at
