TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Problem
18.Machine will not run
when in the Auto mode.
19.Air compressor runs too
often for normal usage.
20.LCD is blank.
21.Product is not feeding
into the freezing
cylinder.
22.The draw handle does
not close.
23.Product popping when
drawn.
24.Machine shuts off but
fault tone continues.
25.Syrup flows constantly
or not at all. Difficult to

calibrate syrups.
26.Shakes have air
bubbles in them.
27.Mix Low and Mix Out
probes are not
functioning.

Probable Cause
a. Machine is unplugged.
b. Beater motor is out on reset.
c. Circuit breaker OFF or blown fuse.
d. Low on mix. The MIX OUT light is
ON.
e. Water is turned OFF on 
water-cooled machines.
a. Air leak in the system.
a. Machine is unplugged.
b. Circuit breaker is OFF or blown
fuse.
c. Component failure.
d. LCD intensity needs adjusting.
a. The mix inlet hole is frozen up.
a. Mix is on the sensing eye.

PH61 Peristaltic Pump
Corrective Action
a. Plug into wall receptacle.
b. Clear the tone. Allow the beater motor to cool. Place
the power switch to OFF. Press the RESET button
firmly. Place the power switch to ON and press the
WASH key. Open the side access panel and
observe that the driveshaft is turning clockwise as
viewed from the front of the machine. Press the
AUTO key to return to the Auto mode. If the beater
motor should go OFF on reset again, call a Taylor
service technician.
c. Turn the breaker ON or replace the fuse and clear
the fault.
d. Add mix to the mix hopper and press the AUTO key.
e. Turn water ON and clear the fault.
a. Use a soap solution to locate the leak and repair.
a. Plug into wall receptacle.
b. Turn the circuit breaker ON or replace the fuse and
clear the fault.
c. Call a Taylor service technician.
d. Call a Taylor service technician.
a. The hopper temperature needs adjustment. Call a
Taylor service technician.
a. Clean the sensing eye.
a. Assemble and lubricate according to instructions in
this manual.
a. Verify condition in the Operator's Menu fault screen.

b. Minimum of 6 in. (152 mm) airspace around all sides
to prevent recirculation of warm air.
a. Disassemble and clean the syrup valves. Flush
syrup lines with warm water and sanitize weekly.
b. Replace the pump tube.
