Phone numbers used in the configuration of the Wireless Communication Module must be conformed

to the international telephone number format (+ with country code).
Parameters/features are only supported by GSM/GPRS modules manufactured after week 3 of 2017.

Configuration of SMSC and APN

SMSC must be configured as the first parameter, otherwise the Wireless Communication
Module will not be able to send the response message.
Consult your mobile network operator for information about the SMSC and APN.
Example for German Vodafone SIM card:

Configuration of data transmission protocol

The data transmission protocol is controlled by the parameter P52. Nine modes are supported
by the 3G/UMTS module.
● 0 = email and SMS
The measurement data will be sent by email if a data connection is available. If no data
connection is available or the mail server is down, 12 values of Totalizer 1 will be extracted
from the measurement data and sent by SMS.
● 1 = SMS only
A SMS with 12 values of Totalizer 1 will be extracted from the measurement data and sent
by SMS to the receiver programmed in parameter P9.
