However if the module is installed close to a country's border, it is recommended to select the
network provider manually to avoid high roaming costs. For the configuration command you
need the PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) number of your local network provider. The
PLMN has 5-6 digits and contains the MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network
Code).
Syntax:
Configuration;P2=<PLMN>;
Example:
Configuration;P2=26202;

If the selected network is not available, the Wireless Communication Module will automatically
switch to automatic network registration mode and choose the strongest network available.
The Wireless Communication Module will send out an error SMS to the mobile phone numbers
set to parameters P7 and P8. The error SMS will state that the registration to the specified
network was not possible and that the Wireless Communication Module is registered to a
different network.
Error SMS syntax:
[IDENTIFIER] [TIMESTAMP]
Cannot register to PLMN: [PLMN]
Available Networks:
[STATUS], [AVAILABLE PLMN]
[STATUS], [AVAILABLE PLMN]
SignalStrength: [SIGNAL STRENGTH]
Four different values are possible for [STATUS]
