Polling localization readiness with SWE11
1. Polling localization readiness
Õ Function Comm.
2. Wait until readiness for localization in the SWE11 is confirmed.
Deactivate device localization:
1. In global localization mode: In the physical structure select any node, but no function
unit.
2. In local localization mode: In the physical structure select the function unit in local-
ization mode.
3. End the localization mode via SWE11:
Õ Function Comm. Õ Terminate Loc.
Message:
From the terminal only single function units can be set in localization mode
This localization mode is particularly useful for extensions to systems (additional de-
vices on an existing line or additional lines)
Lines that are not in localization mode continue to operate as normal.
Requirements
System data must already have been loaded in the CC/CI11 control unit and in at least 1
CT11 terminal (upon configuration with CC11).
Activating line-by-line device localization:
1. Press 'F1' key
2. Enter password requested
3. Menu point 'Select device', press ok
4. Select required control unit, press ok
5. Select required function unit, press F1
6. Select menu point 'Address allocation through activation' or 'Address allocation
through insertion', press ok
ü
After the address allocation has been activated, the control unit reads in the data of
all devices to be localized. This procedure takes up to about 2 minutes for
AnalogPLUS lines and up to about 10 minutes for interactive lines. As soon as
the control unit is ready for address allocation, an Isolation message for the relevant
line appears on the terminal. Under no circumstances may address allocation be
started before this message has appeared for the relevant line. Otherwise, localiza-
tion must be repeated!
"Ready"signal at the terminal
1. The message 'Isolation' lights as soon as at least one function unit is ready for local-
ization
2. Press 'Isolation' key
3. All function units indicated are ready for localization
Õ begin localization
Õ Wait until Loc. Ready
