Switch control unit to 'Address allocation through activation' mode
Localize the first device

Automatic detectors:
Detector bases installed
Detectors inserted
ÕAs a rule, detectors are already inserted in their bases when address allocation
through activation begins; but it is possible to insert a detector during address
allocation and then activate it
Fixed devices (manual fire alarms, input/output modules):
Terminal block mounted
Electronics installed
Wait until the control unit is ready
Activate detectors, manual call points or input/output modules (Õ Page 101)
Wait until the response indicator flashes
Õbefore the response indicator flashes, no additional devices may be activated
Õthe device must remain inserted for at least 30 seconds
