When replacing manual call points or input / output modules the localization for the
replaced devices must be repeated. The following operations must be carried out:
Disconnect line from power supply
Remove old device
Fit new device
Reconnect line to power supply
In the physical structure, set the D-Bus address of the replaced device to 0 (using
Raw Data Editor)
Repeat localization and assignment procedure for the device replaced
Note: Never set a D-Bus address for the new devices using the AlgoMan!
The following operations must be carried out:
If manual call points or input/output modules are replaced, disconnect line from
power supply
Remove old detectors from their bases or unmount input /output module
Insert new detectors or mount input / output module
Reconnect line to power supply (if disconnected)
Õ As long as the new device type is the same as the old device type, the system reconfi-
gures itself automatically
Õ If a different device type is purposely installed, a change in the configuration is neces-
sary:
Change the device type accordingly in the physical structure
Download the updated configuration data to the control unit
The following operations must be carried out:
If manual call points are to be replaced, disconnect line from power supply
Remove old detectors from their bases or unmount manual call points
Insert new detectors or mount manual call points
Reconnect line to power supply (if disconnected)
Õ As long as the new detector type is the same as the old detector type (MS9i or
MS9i+), the system reconfigures itself automatically
Õ If a different detector type is purposely installed (MS9i instead of MS9i+ or vice
versa), a change in the configuration is necessary:
Change the device type accordingly in the physical structure
Download the updated configuration data to the control unit
